Bibliometric Analyses on Europe-Africa Research Co-publications in Climate Change
According to the executive summary, the report aims to "inform relevant policy by revealing the trends in bi-regional research collaborations and the publication of research".
The bibliometrics analyses national, regional and global discourse and policy imperatives on climate change and topics related to this societal grand challenge, which is of national, regional and global interest. It also provides insight on the impact of co-publications within the Africa-EU R&I landscape, and lastly provides a critical analysis of the factors which have driven collaborative research between African researchers and their European counterparts between 1993 and 2015.
The report was commissioned by CAAST-Net Plus partner, South Africa's Department of Science and Technology.
