Report: Multilateral Cooperation in Higher Education, Science and Research with Sub-Saharan Africa

This summary, compiled by the International Bureau of the Federal German Ministry of Education and Research, and drawing on inputs from the Federal German Ministry of Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), aims to give an overview of the most important initiatives of international organisations in cooperation with Sub-Saharan Africa in the fields of higher education, science and technology. The report looks at the context for science and technology in Africa, outlines the EU strategy for Africa, the EU Research Framework Programme and the European Development Fund.
