Horizon 2020 Space Research Info Session for South Africans

The South African government will be hosting a Horizon 2020 information session for researchers in Cape Town in the coming weeks to highlight opportunities for space research. The session will be organised by the European South African Science and Technology Advancement Programme (ESASTAP Plus) and supply information about joint policies and funding mechanisms for European Union-South Africa cooperation. Earth observation and satellite navigation will be given special attention. Speakers include representatives from the Department of Science and Technology, the European Commission, the International Astronomical Union and various space science researchers who will expound on their work.
