The theme of the fifth Innovation Africa summit, which takes place in Kampala later in the year, is “Developing African Skills for the 21st Century”. It is the “most desirable event to attend for ministers of education, higher education, ICT, science & research,” according to the event’s website. The event is co-organised by African Brains, an education and technology information network, and Uganda’s Ministry of Education and Sports. The event promises to bring together over 400 delegates, including senior government officials from 30 African countries. Registration for private sector delegates and sponsors is currently open.
