Workshop on Web 2.0 for Agricultural Development

The Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), in collaboration with Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, is hosting a workshop on the use of social networking sites for agricultural development. The Web 2.0 Learning Opportunity will encourage participants to conduct online conversations, micro-blogging, and training on social media for agri-business and marketing. The workshop “forms part of CTA initiatives that support development partners in networking, accessing and disseminating information more effectively,” says the workshop announcment.
