In collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research of Senegal, CAAS-TNet Plus and the Council on Health Research for Development (COHRED) are organizing a workshop to support the three pilot institutions chosen for the implementation of the RFI project in Senegal. The implementation and dissemination workshop is a follow up of the RFI introductory workshop held in July 2016, in Dakar.

The aim of this workshop is to work with a small team of research institutions to prepare a RFI draft report. The target audience is ideally heads of research institutions and members involved in obtaining research data and drafting the report.

"COHRED and the CAAST-Net Plus team will work with the staff members from Bambey University, the African Center of Excellence for Maternal and Child Health of UCAD, and the Laboratory of Virology Bacteriology of the Aristide Le Dantec Hospital to prepare the RFI report in a consensual way allowing maximum impact on research and innovation partnerships of the involved institutions," the invitation states.

The opening ceremony will be led by Senegal's Minister of Higher Education and Research on 12 June 2017, followed by presentations and discussions on the reports of the three aforementioned institutions.
