Euro-Africa Cooperation Forums on ICT Research present an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation on ICT research between the two regions.

The 2013 Africa-EU Cooperation Forum on ICT is taking place on 2-3 December 2013 at the African Union Commission (AUC) Premises in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

It is the sixth in a series of conferences organised by the EuroAfrica-ICT initiative under the aegis of the Euroean and the African Union Commissions, and in the framework of the Joint Africa-EU Strategic Partnership (JAES).

This week is part of a series of events organised to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the formation of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) / African Union (AU).

Euro-Africa Cooperation Forums on ICT Research provide all stakeholders with an opportunity to celebrate and further strengthen the development of cooperation on ICT research between the two regions. The events are expected to attract at least 200 participants over two days.
