CAAST-Net Plus at African Science Minister Dialogue
CAAST-Net Plus partner organisations from Senegal, Nigeria, Ghana, Germany and South Africa participated in the event’s workshops.
“CAAST-Net Plus aimed to inform the delegation of African ministers, the UNESCO delegation and science experts on the ongoing work of CAAST-Net Plus in EU-Africa research and innovation collaboration and to provide potential strategies in the uptake of research in food security, climate change, and health,” says Stefan A. Haffner of the German Aerospace Center’s Project Management Agency (DLR-PT).

Close to 150 participants were convened in Accra from 7-8 July 2015 for the Government of Ghana and UNESCO organised meeting “African Regional Ministers and Parliamentarians on Mobilising Science for Africa’s Sustainable Development post-2015”.
The dialogue’s Draft Communiqué is being finalised for wider circulation.
