Mauritius to Host CAAST-Net Plus Horizon 2020 & Erasmus+ Seminar
According to an early programme the event is “geared towards high level participants from universities, research institutes, private sector and government bodies,” and will comprise of presentations and discussions on the opportunities and rules of participating in Horizon 2020 and Erasmus+, as well as training on National Contact Points, proposal writing and financial management.
“The workshop will provide hands-on training for researchers in Mauritius wanting to take part in the EU’s major research and education cooperation funding mechanisms. After attending, participants will have a better idea of how to find and apply for funding from Horizon 2020 and Erasmus Plus, as well as the current open opportunities relevant to Mauritius’ priority areas,” says Melissa Plath of the University of Jyväskylä (JyU). “The interactive nature of the seminar will support better understanding of the instruments and how to make use of them.”
The event is organised by CAAST-Net Plus partners with the support of the Ministry of Communication and Innovation of Mauritius and will take place from 6-7 February 2017 at the Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel.
The workshop is by invitation only. For more information, get in touch with Melissa Plath at melissa.a.plath[@]jyu.fi.
