DANIDA Research Grant Call Now Open
The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Call for 2014 applications (Phase 1/prequalification) is out.
The Danida Fellowhip Centre (DFC) has devised two categories:
1) North Driven Development Research Projects, for which Danish institutions may apply.
2) South Driven Development Research Projects, for which research institutions in Ghana, Tanzania and Nepal can apply.
Both project types (North and South Driven) aim at and must be carried out as partnerships between researchers in Denmark and in Danida’s priority countries.
Applications can only be submitted by an institution, e.g. a governmental institution, private-sector enterprise or private organization in Denmark for the North Driven research projects, and in Ghana, Tanzania or Nepal for the South Driven research projects. The main applicant must be attached to the applicant institution, which will be responsible for the approved project.
Application forms are available at www.dfcentre.com
Phase 1 applications must be completed and submitted electronically via DFC’s e-application system by 12 noon (Danish Time) on 25 September 2013.
The final prioritisation process (Phase 2) will take place in 2014 and the selected projects will be able to start in 2015. No other calls will be issued in 2013.
DFC is a self-governing institution under Danida (the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
