http://l.caast-net-plus.org/f5

Two Horizon 2020 funding calls are open which focus on food and nutrition security and sustainable agriculture in the context of EU-Africa cooperation. The first call, worth up to €10 million, seeks to establish closer EU-Africa cooperation in the target areas and specifically, the development of an EU-Africa Research and Innovation Partnership. It is an ERA-NET co-fund action. The second call leans more towards the innovation side of research with a budget of up to € 5 million. Projects will attempt to link farmers, organisations, civil society, advisory bodies and the private sector to research and innovation in food and nutrition security and sustainable agriculture. Applications for the both calls will close on 17 February 2016. [Image credit: European Commission]
