Announcement: Workshop on Pathways for Research Uptake

CAAST-Net Plus is co-organising a workshop with the Development Research Uptake in Sub-Saharan Africa (DRUSSA) project to take place on 12 May 2015 in South Africa. Our shared ambition? To initiate a series of discussions that adopt a “fresh approach” to knowledge transfer and research uptake. [Image credit: Flickr, Janneke Staaks]

Results of ACU Survey on University Research Uptake

http://l.caast-net-plus.org/4h

The Association of Commonwealth Universities has released results from the 2014 DRUSSA Benchmarking Survey. The Development Research Uptake in Sub-Saharan Africa or DRUSSA project is funded by the UK Department for International Development as a partnership between the ACU, the South Africa-based consulting firm, Organisation Systems Design, and the Centre for Research and Evaluation in Science and Technology based at Stellenbosch University. Results suggest African universities have progressed in fostering the uptake of research by key stakeholders, “although much more remains to be done”. [Image credit: Flickr, Msafari 2425]
