CAAST-Net Plus Workshop for Early-career African Climate Academics

Ghana's Science and Technology Policy Research Institute will play host to a CAAST-Net Plus training workshop for early-career researchers working on topics related to sustainable agriculture intensification. It will pursue a predominantly pedagogic style and structure, with opportunities for researchers to work alone and in small groups to develop their own ideas, proposal and strategies, as well as to participate in a field trip. CAAST-Net Plus Workshop Targets Early-career Energy Tech and Policy Researchers

Rwanda's Ministry of Education and the UNEP-DTU Partnership are to jointly host a CAAST-Net Plus training workshop for early-career researchers working on low-carbon and renewable energy technologies and policy. The workshop will focus on identifying research gaps, finding funding opportunities and developing research ideas and proposals. The initiative forms part of the Africa-EU Research and Innovation Collaboration Platform on Climate Change that is being developed by CAAST-Net Plus (see report attached in right panel).
